Frame delivered - 27/03/2017

Some more updates -

On Friday 24/3, the Steve Thompson electrics guys finished the underground electric work, and installed a private pole. You can see that they ran two conduits, one for NBN and one Optus HFC, as requested -

Here's the tail to the fusebox, and the NBN, Optus runs -

I couldn't access the slab, so this is first time I've seen where the second drain went. Rear, RHS -

Sometime on 27th March, the frame was delivered -

Here's a cool print-out of the flooring slats - could be useful later -

Arrived for a look this morning (28th March) and found this (I'll make short work of it) -

Drainage completed - 23rd March 2017

Drainage appears to be completed as of this afternoon.

Here's the overflow drain, close to ground level near the council verge, and a view from there up -

Here's the drainage RHS near garage, and a view towards front -

From garage, and I believe this is the water inlet for mains -

Mains water again, and another conduit running to the underground water tank (power??) -

They did a cut-out, I'm guessing to make it easier to install steps at the front -

Here's a shot next to the garage (RHS) of the drainage -

First thing 24/3, I found Steve Thompson guys working on the electrical conduits for the mains, fusebox and private pole. They didn't get the message that we wanted a dedicated conduit for Optus HFC cable, so I called Steve himself and confirmed same. Last I heard, an invoice was to be drafted and the guys were off sourcing the extra conduits for the run - yay!

Oh, and the water mains conduit was already run yesterday, so we can't easily move it now... *sigh*

Draining installed - 21st-23rd March 2017

On 21st March, the digger from Cleary Plumbing made an appearance. It made a ramp up onto the slab, and started trenching on the RHS of the slab. Rain occurred later in the day.

On 22nd March, more work was completed, including installation of a detention overflow pit. It was raining later in the day also.

Located the water mains! I'd like to get this moved closer to the drainage run -

Fair bit of work done today, especially considering the rain.

I heard the workers talking. They mentioned to the SS (who drove up as I was there, but didn't stop), that the work will be finished by end of 23rd March.

This would mean that the frame should be delivered next week (w/c 27/3).

Thursday 16 March 2017

Nothing to report for this week (week ending 17/3/2017)

It's been raining for most of the week.

Drainage is due this week to be completed, but cannot be done due to the bad weather.

Likely the frame won't be delivered now until end of March, pending completion of the drainage.

Update Status - 9th March 2017

Site Supervisor said that the frame would be delivered on 8th March.

Unfortunately that passed, and the date has been revised to the 20th March, due to weather (?).

It seems a dependancy for frame delivery is drainage work, which is due to complete by 17th March.

A single framework was installed on 7th March - suspect this is to help support the frame in the garage, or perhaps for framework to lean against upon delivery.

Structural Steel arrives - 17th Feb 2017
