First update!

House purchased in mid 2015.

Lived in it for a year, and replaced kitchen with basic IKEA fit-out to make it bearable.

Around mid 2016, we decided to do the knock-down/rebuild, with Masterton Homes.

First step, choose the design, get the tender, choose the finishes, sign-off on it, get final plans and ensure CDC (complying development) so we didn't need to consult neighbours and delay the work.

Once we were notified that the plans were 'complying', we then applied to demolish the house. We gained this approval within a week, and then started stripping the contents out, selling them on ebay and gumtree.

We sold the polished timber flooring.

We sold the gas hot water system.

We sold the kitchen cabinetry.

We sold the internal doors.

We sold the toilet, vanity and shower screen.

We sold the built-in wardrobes.

Here's the house pre-demolition, with fencing installed, ready to go -

Here are photos of the asbestos and tile strip-out -

Here is some paperwork I found inside the house -

Here are various demolition shots -

Here are the pots that were stolen by the temporary fence providers, employed by Site Demolition.

Here is the water mains, still connected, but severed from house, per scope of work. This mains has since gone missing!
